HONOR has dramatically enhanced its “Device Clone” application, achieving full compatibility with Android, iOS, and the upcoming HarmonyOS Next. This significant update enables effortless data transfer between these major mobile operating systems, positioning HONOR as a pioneer in cross-system mobile migration.

Bridging the Ecosystem Gap

The recent upgrade follows HONOR’s introduction of the AI Connect feature, which facilitated wireless file sharing with Apple iOS devices. By expanding support to include HarmonyOS Next, the company now offers a comprehensive solution for users switching to HONOR phones, whether coming from an iPhone or a Huawei device running HarmonyOS Next.

Simplified Cross-System Data Transfer

Migrating data is now remarkably straightforward. Users simply need to install the “Device Clone” app on both the old and new devices. On the new HONOR phone, users navigate to “Settings” > “System and Updates” > “Device Clone,” designate it as the new device, and select the operating system of their old device. The app on the old device is then activated as the source, and a QR code scan establishes a connection. Users can then select specific data types like photos, contacts, and application data for transfer.
