Honor Launches 500 Pro 5G: Flagship Device Prioritizes Gaming and Display Quality
[CITY, DATE] – Honor has announced the 500 Pro 5G, a new smartphone focused on delivering high-end performance and a premium user experience.The device boasts a powerful Qualcomm snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm) chipset, a large 8,000 mAh battery, and a vibrant 6.55-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
The Honor 500 Pro 5G features a 6.55 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2,736 x 1,264 pixels. The 120Hz refresh rate aims to provide a smooth visual experience for scrolling and gaming. brightness reaches up to 6,000 nits for comfortable viewing in direct sunlight, and the device incorporates a super-thin 1.05 mm bezel. An under-display fingerprint sensor and a punch-hole front camera complete the display features.
Powering the phone is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite (3nm) chipset, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. The device runs Android 16 with the MagicOS 10.0 interface.
Honor has redesigned the camera module, adopting a horizontal oval shape. The camera system includes a 200 MP main lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. A 50 MP selfie camera is located on the front.
The 500 pro 5G is equipped with an 8,000 mAh battery and supports 80W fast charging via cable, 50W wireless charging, and 27W reverse-wired charging. Honor’s phantom Engine technology is included to enhance gaming stability, with claims of maintaining a stable 120fps in MOBA games, achieving a low 1% frame rate of 118.4 fps and a jitter level of 0.00%.
The Honor 500 Pro 5G is priced between IDR 8.4 million and IDR 11 million, depending on the RAM and storage configuration. As of today, Honor has not confirmed whether the 500 Pro 5G will be released in global markets.
