Honolulu Police Investigate Attempted Murder in Pearl City

Honolulu police are investigating an attempted murder that occurred in Pearl City on Friday night, February 27th. The incident involved a shooting at a vehicle, according to Hawaii News Now.

The driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old male, reported the shooting to police at the Kapolei Police Station. A 16-year-old passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported, but the vehicle sustained damage.

Police have stated that the suspect remains unknown. The Honolulu Police Department’s District 3, which covers Pearl City, is leading the investigation. District 3’s jurisdiction extends from Red Hill to Village Park and Waipahu, according to the Honolulu Police Department.

The Pearl City Police Station, established in June 1973, serves the communities between Aiea and Kunia/Waipahu. The station is equipped to handle investigations within its designated area. It can be reached at (808) 723-8800.
