Holland America Line Expands Asia Offerings with New Ports and Extended Stays for 2027-2028 Season
Seattle, WA – Holland America Line announced its 2027-2028 Asia season today, featuring three new Japanese ports – Hitachinaka, nagoya, and Maizuru – and a new scenic cruising experience in Maizuru Bay. The season, sailing from September 2027 to April 2028 aboard Noordam, also includes more overnight stays in six destinations to allow for deeper cultural immersion.
The expanded season responds to growing demand for immersive travel experiences in Asia. Holland America Line is offering cruises ranging from 13 to 15 days, accessing smaller ports like Jeju, South Korea, and Boracay, Philippines, due to Noordam’s size. This allows guests to explore a wider range of destinations beyond typical cruise routes.

The cruise line is currently offering a limited-time promotion with its Have It All premium package, including shore excursions, specialty dining, a signature Beverage Package, and Surf Wi-Fi, plus free prepaid crew appreciation, upgrades to the elite beverage Package, and Premium Wi-Fi.Mariner Society loyalty members can receive up to $400 onboard credit per stateroom when booking by January 12, 2026.
