Hnutí Duha to file enforcement motion against Filip Turek
Ecological organization Hnutí Duha announced it will file a court-ordered enforcement motion against Member of Parliament Filip Turek after he added critical political attacks to his mandated Facebook apology, Novinky reported.
Court Order and Defiance on Social Media
The Prague Municipal Court previously ruled that Turek must issue an apology for claims he made on his Facebook page in April. At that time, the MP asserted that several people died during flooding because the activist group blocked the construction of a dam, and labeled organization members as parasites needing extermination. Turek complied with part of the verdict by sending an apology via data box, but his mandatory social media video publication included additional barbed commentary. In the video, Turek’s apology played with a soundtrack from the film Braveheart, followed by remarks celebrating government personnel changes and budget cuts aimed at environmental organizations.
Filip Turek indeed published his ‘apology’ on his Facebook page last week, but its wording and form do not match what the court ordered him to do,
said Zuzana Pernicová, speaking for Hnutí Duha, as reported by Novinky. Pernicová added that the organization gave him until Friday to correct the post and comply fully, failing which they would initiate execution proceedings.

Contrasting Legal Paths for Defendants
The underlying lawsuit, filed in June, targeted both Turek and Foreign Minister Petr Macinka, who is the chairman of the Motoristé movement. Because Turek failed to respond to the lawsuit within the designated legal window, the court issued a judgment by default—a step Turek publicly labeled a default loss, according to Novinky. Conversely, Minister Macinka submitted his defense statement within the required timeframe. The Prague Municipal Court has scheduled a hearing to begin on November 26 to address the portion of the lawsuit directed against Macinka.
Legal experts note that appending critical remarks to a mandated apology generally invalidates the compliance required by civil courts.

Enforcement Action Timeline
With the Friday deadline passed without a compliant public retraction, Hnutí Duha confirmed its legal representatives are preparing the enforcement paperwork for court submission. The organization maintains that the video posted by the MP serves as a platform for continued attacks rather than a genuine correction of the defamatory statements.
