Martel passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 18th, at Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital, surrounded by loved ones, following a long battle with breast cancer, her family announced.
Martel’s career spanned decades and encompassed work with a who’s who of the music industry, including Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Ciara, Jennifer Lopez, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys, and John Legend.
