The forward’s absence prompts a roster adjustment⁣ as Latvia prepares⁣ to compete against Germany, Slovakia, and Austria in‌ the tournament,​ set to take place ⁣November 6-9 in Landsberg, Germany.

This change impacts Latvia’s forward lineup as they⁣ aim to ‌perform ‌strongly in the four-nation cup. egle’s replacement ‍is Kārlis Ozoliņš, a standout performer‍ in Latvia’s “Optibet” hockey league‍ (OHL).Ozoliņš‌ currently leads the ⁤OHL in scoring with 28 points (14 goals‍ and 14 assists) in 15 regular season games while playing for Liepāja.

The LHF confirmed the substitution via Twitter, stating that Ozoliņš has been called up to fill⁣ Egle’s position.‌ Latvia ‌will begin its Deutschland Cup campaign on November 6th against host Germany at 8:45 p.m. (Latvian time), followed by a ⁢match⁢ against Slovakia on November 8th at 12:00 p.m., and concluding the tournament with a game against Austria ⁢on‌ November ⁣9th ⁣at 12:00 ​p.m. The⁣ team is coached by Vītoliņš.
