Hampshire Cricket has secured a new sponsorship deal with regional housebuilder Bargate, marking the first partnership of its kind between a regional housebuilding company and the county cricket club and Utilita Bowl.
The multi-year agreement, announced on Sunday, will see Bargate become the official sponsor of the Family Zone at the Utilita Bowl. Plans are underway to refresh and enhance the space, which will be operational during both Vitality Blast fixtures and international matches, according to a statement released by Hampshire Cricket.
Beyond the Family Zone sponsorship, Bargate’s branding will be prominently displayed on players’ kit trousers and featured on perimeter advertising boards throughout the venue during domestic fixtures. The partnership is set to run for two seasons, encompassing all Hampshire Cricket competitions and events hosted at the Utilita Bowl, which welcomes hundreds of thousands of visitors annually.
Rob Paddon, Commercial Director at Hampshire Cricket and Utilita Bowl, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration. “We’re delighted to welcome Bargate as an official partner of Hampshire Cricket and Utilita Bowl,” Paddon said. “Their focus on community, families and long-term local investment aligns closely with our own values and the support of the Family Zone will play an essential role in enhancing the matchday experience for supporters of all ages.”
Bargate’s involvement represents a significant investment in the local sporting community, according to the club. The partnership was first announced on Thursday, February 12th, and further details were released on Sunday, February 15th.
