Xiaomi‘s Smart Graphene Heater Lands in Europe, Czech Availability Emerges at Competitive Price
A new smart heater utilizing graphene technology from Xiaomi is now available in Spain and Italy, and is already appearing for sale in the Czech Republic via third-party retailers. Priced at €80-€90 in Spain and Italy, the heater is currently listed for 1650 CZK (approximately €70) on Czech e-shop eltrox.cz.
While not intended as a central heating replacement, the Xiaomi Smart Graphene Heater offers a speedy heating solution for smaller spaces like bathrooms or studies.Key features include overheating and tip-over protection with accompanying smartphone notifications, and remote control via an internet connection. dimensions are 176 × 467 mm with a weight of 2.3 kg.
The heater consumes 2000W, translating to approximately 12 CZK (roughly €0.50) per hour of operation at current Czech electricity prices of 6 CZK/kWh.Xiaomi claims graphene technology provides faster startup and more even heat distribution, possibly reducing overall operating time.
Currently, Xiaomi is officially selling the Smart Graphene Heater only in Spain and Italy. Though, according to reports, it is indeed expected to become available in other countries within weeks.
