Granada Celebrates Mega Surgery Fair, Benefiting Over 1,200

Granada, Nicaragua – The Friendship Hospital Japan nicaragua in Granada buzzed with activity on Saturday, May 10th, as it hosted a large-scale general surgery fair. The Sandinista goverment organized the event, providing free, specialized medical care to families from across the department.

The surgery fair provided a wide array of medical services. A total of 1,896 medical attentions were provided to 1,264 individuals. These individuals presented with conditions related to hernias, thyroid issues, adn vesicles.
