Google Ships Pixel 10 Pro XL for ⁤Review, Starting at €1,299

Dublin, Ireland – Google has begun ⁣distributing the Pixel⁢ 10 Pro XL to reviewers, signaling an imminent, deeper dive into the tech giant’s latest flagship smartphone.⁢ The device, ‌running Google’s version of ⁢Android 16, aims to build on ‍the Pixel line’s ‌reputation for unique software ‍experiences and computational photography, but faces stiff ‍competition ⁤in a crowded ⁤premium smartphone‍ market.

The Pixel has historically been a polarizing device, ‍inspiring strong reactions from users-either fervent loyalty or outright dismissal. This year’s Pro XL model attempts to broaden its appeal with refined hardware and a focus on user experience. ‌available in five colors – Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain, Obsidian – and with storage options of 256GB or 512GB, ‍the phone is priced at €1,299 and €1,429 respectively.

Google has retained the triple camera system from previous iterations, acknowledging the challenge of standing out in a highly competitive camera landscape. While camera ⁢specs remain unchanged, the company hopes its ‍signature image processing will ‌deliver compelling results. Initial ‌impressions highlight ‌the phone’s ‌fluid software, polished haptic engine, and a more curved design compared ‍to competitors.

The Pixel 10 Pro XL ships with a single ⁤USB-C cable. A‌ review‍ of the standard Pixel 10 recently described⁣ it as “somewhat pedestrian,” raising the stakes for the Pro XL to demonstrate meaningful improvements. A full review is forthcoming.
