Glennis Grace Hopes for New Baby
Singer Expresses Desire for Motherhood with New Love
Singer Glennis Grace, 47, is reportedly deeply in love with her new partner, Eddy Reijner, 31. The Dutch star has expressed a strong desire to expand her family and become a mother again.
A Unique Connection
In a recent interview with *Privé*, Grace shared her longing for motherhood. She stated, “I would love to enter into motherhood again. I have been calling that for years, they know that about me too. Only it never happened again. In this relationship I would still like it.”
Grace, already mother to son Anthony, acknowledged the potential challenges of her age but remains optimistic. She highlighted the strong bond between Anthony and Eddy, calling their connection “very good.”
Past Relationships Fall Short
The singer revealed that previous relationships never reached the level of commitment she shares with Reijner. “I have had different relationships in recent years, but there was no one with whom I could take this step,”
Grace explained. “The feeling that I now have at Eddy is unique.”
Hopeful for the Future
Despite acknowledging her age, Grace finds encouragement in others who have had children later in life. She pointed to Jasmine Sendar, who is the same age and expecting, as an example. “I am in good health, so hope I have also been awarded,”
Grace remarked.
Grace‘s renewed hope for family building comes after a period of focusing on her career and personal life. Her sentiment echoes a trend where individuals are pursuing family goals at various life stages. For instance, the average age of first-time mothers in the United States has been steadily increasing, reaching 27.3 years in 2021, demonstrating that later-life parenthood is increasingly common (CDC, 2023).
Previously, Grace made headlines for her surprise “wedding crashing” performance, serenading a bridal couple with Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’.
