A recent social media post by Gibran Rakabuming Raka, son of President Joko Widodo, showing a lunch meeting with Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Speaker of the Indonesian House of representatives (DPR), has generated public interest and speculation regarding potential political discussions.
The meeting took place at an undisclosed location, but the images show Gibran and dasco seated across from each other at a dining table. Gibran was dressed in a white shirt and cream-colored pants, while Dasco wore a black batik shirt.
The table was set with glassware and plates, and a jar containing what appeared to be crackers was also visible.
Lunch menu
Gibran detailed the lunch in his Instagram post, tagging Dasco’s official account (@sufmi_dasco). The menu consisted of meatball noodles, balado jerky rice, and sauteed papaya leaves.
Both Gibran and Dasco were photographed looking directly at the camera. Gibran accompanied the post with a weekend greeting.
