George Washington Women’s Swimming and Diving Dominates Weekly Awards; men’s Honors Shared
WASHINGTON, D.C. – George Washington university’s women’s swimming and diving team secured a clean sweep of the atlantic 10 weekly awards, announced November 4, 2025. The GW men shared honors with St. Bonaventure University. The awards recognize outstanding performances from the week ending November 4, 2025.
The weekly accolades highlight GW’s strong start to the 2025-26 season and signal the program’s competitive edge within the Atlantic 10 Conference. These awards are crucial for momentum as the team progresses through the season, aiming for a strong showing at the upcoming A-10 Championships.
Kate Hill of the student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SBU) was recognized for her contributions. On the men’s side, Mark Mizsei (SBU) and Andres Brooks (GW) earned recognition, alongside GW teammates Colleen MacWilliams and Julia gomez Carpi.
