Locate the watch’s model number on its packaging or pair using the QR code displayed on the watch.

Within the pairing menu of the Garmin Connect app, users can either scan the QR code presented on the watch’s screen or manually select the watch model by its designation. The app may present older models, making it crucial to search for the precise watch model name, which is indicated on the watch itself. Once the correct model is identified, the mobile app will locate the watch, and the user can initiate the connection. The pairing process involves confirming permissions on the mobile device, followed by the watch pairing itself (the first attempt failed in this instance). Users then confirm a code displayed on the watch matches the code on the phone, although this code did not appear. Despite a less-than-seamless initial pairing experiance, the process is ultimately completed.
