A new animated series, “Furious and Fat Cat,” created by Hoffman Estates High School graduates, debuted a pilot episode in November 2025, according to recent reports.
The series centers on two friends, known as Furious and Fat Cat, who reunite as roommates in Chicago. The creators, described as a video game loving former Correctional Officer and his friend, are revisiting a bond formed in their youth. A still released from the series depicts the characters engaged in video game play, a key element of their shared history.
The show’s origins trace back to the creators’ time at Hoffman Estates High School. The Daily Herald reported on the series’ creation just nineteen hours ago, highlighting the personal connection between the creators and the characters they’ve brought to life.
Beyond the animated series, “Furious and Fat Cat” also exists as a 2D combat video game available on Steam. The game features characters described as “obese and comic,” battling within a fast-food parody world against a “sinister minister of the restauration.”
The YouTube channel for “Furious & Fat Cat” currently hosts content related to the project, including the pilot episode. The channel’s description indicates the series follows the pair as they navigate life in their twenties.
