The Medical Board of California revoked the license of Fresno physician Victor Lynn Perry, effective February 24, 2026, following allegations of sexual assault during a patient examination in September 2021. The revocation concludes an investigation into claims that Perry inappropriately touched a patient whereas she was seeking follow-up care for prior neck surgery and experiencing sciatic nerve pain.
According to the patient’s account, detailed in reports reviewed by the Medical Board, Perry directed her to lie down during the examination at his office located at 6177 N Thesta Street, Ste 103, in Fresno. The patient alleged that Perry placed his hand inside her underwear, stating, “It’s okay. You’re okay. I’m just adjusting.” She immediately terminated the examination and informed the receptionist, submitting a written statement that read, “Dr. Perry totally violated me.”
The Medical Board’s investigation substantiated the patient’s claims, leading to the revocation of Perry’s Physician’s and Surgeon’s Certificate. In addition to losing his medical license, Perry was ordered to pay $65,926 to cover the costs associated with the investigation and subsequent enforcement actions, according to a statement released by the Medical Board.
Fresno police investigated the allegations and noted Perry’s behavior as deceptive, according to reports. Investigators found Perry to be “elusive” and used cellphone data to locate him in Kerman, California, during the initial investigation in September 2021. Police reported that Perry was uncooperative during questioning.
Dr. Perry graduated from Yale University School of Medicine in 1993. Under California’s Assembly Bill 1636, a physician found to have committed sexual misconduct is permanently barred from regaining a revoked license within the state. The revocation prevents Perry from practicing medicine in California.
The Medical Board of California has not released further details regarding the investigation or potential civil actions. As of February 27, 2026, Perry has not publicly commented on the revocation of his license.
