However, the team was unable to secure a place in the Euro 2025 semi-finals. The quarterfinal match against Germany presented a seemingly favorable scenario. France held a numerical advantage for nearly two hours after German player Kathrin Hendrich received a red card for an incident involving Griedge Mbock.
