Russia has issued a stark warning to Moldova,suggesting the nation could face severe consequences if it continues to align with NATO,particularly in light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.Russian officials have stated that Moldova could become the “next Ukraine” if NATO forces move closer to its borders.

The Russian Federation has also cautioned the Moldovan populace, asserting that in the event of a direct confrontation between NATO and Russia, Moldova would be the initial target and would be treated as expendable “cannon meat.”
