Arsenal’s **Trossard** Set for Transfer to Fenerbahce

Attacker agrees to terms amid Arsenal’s forward line overhaul.

**Leandro Trossard** is reportedly nearing a move to Fenerbahce as Arsenal reshapes its attacking options, potentially marking him as the first casualty of the summer transfer window. The 30-year-old has already agreed to personal terms with the Turkish club.

Contract Details and Transfer Fee

**Trossard** has agreed to a three-year deal with Fenerbahce. Arsenal are reportedly seeking £20 million for the Belgian international, though Fenerbahce will likely aim to negotiate a lower fee.

The Writing on the Wall

Speculation about **Trossard**’s departure increased a week prior when he switched representation to DH Sports & Entertainment Agency, a move often indicative of an impending transfer.

Reasons Behind the Transfer

**Trossard** had been seeking a pay raise at Arsenal, but the club did not offer improved terms. He currently earns approximately £90,000 a week, while several teammates have received wage increases recently.

According to reports, “**Trossard** recently changed his agent and has been trying to get an improved contract at Arsenal since last summer after an offer from Al-Ittihad, the Saudi Pro League club, who wanted to take him on loan with an obligation for a permanent deal.”

Arsenal’s Incoming Transfers

Arsenal are actively reinforcing their forward line, with **Noni Madueke** expected to join from Chelsea in a £52 million deal. Personal terms have already been agreed upon.

**Viktor Gyokeres** is also a primary target for Arsenal, with a five-year deal reportedly in place. However, Sporting CP are holding firm on their asking price of €70 million plus €10 million in add-ons, while Arsenal have offered €65 million plus €15 million in add-ons.

Additionally, Arsenal are interested in **Eberechi Eze** from Crystal Palace, whose contract includes a £68 million release clause, although Arsenal plan to submit a lower bid. Premier League clubs, on average, spend around £44.5 million on player acquisitions (Statista 2024).

Potential Shift in Arsenal’s Strategy

With new attackers potentially arriving, current players like **Trossard** face uncertain futures. His move to Fenerbahce could signal a strategic shift within the Arsenal squad.
