Last December, Paul Wight suggested that bishop Dyer,formerly Baron Corbin in WWE,could substantially benefit AEW.
On Wednesday, Dyer took a step toward possibly joining AEW, appearing in an eight-man tag team dark match before AEW Dynamite in Orlando, Florida. The reason for his appearance and any future plans remain unknown at this time.
Dyer teamed with Better Together (hadar Horvitz & Ori Gold) and Martin Stone in a losing effort against Billy Gunn, Austin Gunn, Brady Booker and Elijah Drago.
Dyer is scheduled to participate in March’s ROH x Maple Leaf Pro Global Wars Canada show on March 27 and the MLW Uprising event the following night.
Currently, Dyer and Donovan Dijak hold the MLW Tag Team Championships. the 41-year-old also competes on the independent circuit as a singles wrestler.
