More About the Story

The young Alexander (played by Matteo di Sapia) grew up in a simple home with his loving grandmother, Margarethe Tiesel. She taught him about life through opera and the changing air. Every Sunday, Alexander visits his father and goes into the dark tunnels of the subway system. This leads him to a job there as a young man.
