Footballer Accuses Pop Star of Serious Allegations

Brazilian footballer Jorginho has publicly accused American pop star Chappell Roan of upsetting his eleven-year-classic daughter during a breakfast encounter at a São Paulo hotel, according to a post made on social media. The incident allegedly occurred whereas Jorginho’s wife and daughter were in the city to attend a concert by the artist.

Jorginho, who currently plays for Flamengo and has previously played for Arsenal and the Italian national team, stated that his daughter, a fan of Roan, briefly approached the singer while she was having breakfast. He described his daughter’s approach as innocent and respectful, simply wanting to confirm the singer’s identity. Following this brief interaction, Jorginho claims a security guard aggressively confronted his wife and daughter, causing the child to turn into distressed and cry.

“My daughter, like any child, recognized her, was excited and just wanted to check if it was really her,” Jorginho wrote in his social media post. He emphasized that his daughter, accustomed to public life due to her father’s career, was not intrusive. “It was just a child admiring someone,” he added.

Roan responded to the allegations on Sunday with a video posted to her own social media accounts, stating that the security guard involved was not part of her personal team.

The incident has sparked discussion online, with Dagbladet reporting on the accusations as a developing story. A cryptic image was posted on Roan’s Instagram account on Wednesday evening, prompting further speculation.
