Workers at the doggy daycare facility located at 1765 Edgewater Canal Road made the grim find on Saturday, September 5. An unusual device was embedded directly inside an electrical outlet in a restroom used by both staff and visitors, according to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office. They alerted law enforcement immediately.
They secured and executed a formal search warrant on the property, confronting Hemphill at the business.
