NSW SES Assesses flood Damage, Continues Resupply Operations
As floodwaters recede across New South Wales, the NSW State emergency Service (SES) has initiated complete damage assessments of properties in affected communities. Together, the agency is maintaining critical resupply operations for residents who remain isolated by the floodwaters.

The scale of the flooding is meaningful. Acting Assistant Commissioner Allison Flaxman estimates that nearly 10,000 properties have been impacted and require assessment before cleanup efforts can commence.

In tandem with damage assessments, the NSW SES is actively conducting resupply operations, delivering essential food and medications to residents stranded by the floodwaters. This ensures that isolated communities have access to critical supplies during this challenging period.

Incident Response and Rescue Operations
As the onset of the severe weather, NSW SES teams have responded to a staggering 7,269 incidents, including 774 flood rescues. The Mid North Coast and Hunter regions have been particularly hard-hit.
