FKA twigs appears alongside Oklou in the music video for “Viscus,” a newly released track from the deluxe edition of Oklou’s critically acclaimed album, Choke Enough. The unsettling visual, directed by Gil Gharbi, depicts the artists navigating a disquieting suburban landscape.
The expanded Choke enough Deluxe-featuring “Viscus” and three additional new songs-arrives October 30 via true Panther. This release follows a remix EP of Choke Enough released in June, which included contributions from Nick Leon, Malibu, Aaron Hibell, and Jamesjamesjames. Oklou will participate in a conversation with Pitchfork’s Mano Sundaresan at the rescheduled launch of the Pitchfork Oklou zine on October 16.
The deluxe edition will also be available on vinyl beginning November 28. Simultaneously occurring, FKA twigs is preparing to release her forthcoming album, Eusexua Afterglow, on November 14. Readers can learn more about Oklou in Pitchfork’s recent Cover Story,”Oklou’s Endless Summer.”
