Five Mandom Indonesia Executives Resign Simultaneously
PT Mandom Indonesia Tbk announced the simultaneous resignation of five directors and commissioners on Friday, October 30, 2026, though corporate leadership insists the sudden departures will not disrupt daily business operations.
The simultaneous resignation letters were submitted to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, commonly known as the IDX, on Friday. Five distinct figures across executive and oversight roles stepped down in a single filing.
Who Stepped Down from the Board
Koichi Watanabe resigned from his post as President Director and Chief Executive Officer, alongside Shinichiro Koshiba, who stepped down as President Commissioner. Masanori Sawada also submitted his resignation from the board of commissioners. The departures extend to the independent oversight tier of the company. Heni Martono and Bowo Priyatno both relinquished their roles as Independent Commissioners, completing a five-person exodus from the upper echelons of corporate governance.
The restructuring affects the core leadership pillars of the company, leaving multiple vacancies at the top of the organizational chart.
Shareholders must ratify resignations and appoint successors
The resignations do not take immediate legal effect regarding a finalized new structure. The formal ratification of these departures and the appointment of successors must travel through a General Meeting of Shareholders.

Corporate Secretary Alia Dewi addressed the market through the regulatory filings, explaining the official next steps for the firm. Furthermore, a change in the composition of the Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners of the Company will be proposed to obtain approval at the same General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company,
Dewi stated in the IDX disclosure.
Management moved quickly to reassure investors regarding the financial stability of the enterprise. Dewi asserted that the governance shakeup carries no hidden operational penalties. There is no significant impact on the company’s operational activities, law, financial condition, or business continuity,
she concluded in the regulatory filing.
The exact catalyst behind the simultaneous departures remains unaddressed in the public disclosures provided to the stock exchange. Shareholders await the upcoming shareholder meeting to see which executives will step forward to fill the five vacant seats.
