Fiorentina vs Inter: Goals Disallowed & Key Moments – Match Updates

March 23, 2026 Alex Carter - Sports Editor Sport

Como fell to Fiorentina 2-1 at the Sinigaglia Stadium on Sunday, as goals from Nicolo Fagioli and Moise Kean secured three points for the visitors in Serie A. An own goal from Fabiano Parisi offered a glimmer of hope for the home side, but proved insufficient to overturn the deficit.

Fagioli opened the scoring in the 26th minute, skillfully maneuvering into the penalty area before finishing at the near post. The goal broke a period of limited chances for both teams, giving Fiorentina a 1-0 lead at halftime.

Fiorentina extended their advantage shortly after the restart, with Kean converting a penalty in the 54th minute. The penalty was awarded after Rolando Mandragora was fouled, allowing Kean to calmly slot the ball past the Como goalkeeper.

Como managed to pull one back through an own goal by Parisi in the 77th minute, injecting some late tension into the match. However, despite the renewed pressure, Paolo Vanoli’s side were unable to find an equalizer, and Fiorentina held on for the win.

The result marks Fiorentina’s fourth league win of the campaign, whereas Como remain in a challenging position in the Serie A standings. The match also saw several players booked, including Kempf, Jesus Rodriguez, and Morata from Como, and Mandragora and Ranieri from Fiorentina. Morata was also sent off during the match.

Fiorentina’s starting lineup featured De Gea, Dodo, Pongracic, Ranieri, and Parisi, with Fagioli, Brescianini, Mandragora, Harrison, and Solomon supporting Kean in attack. Como fielded Butez, Valle, Ramon, Kempf, and Vojvoda, with Da Cunha, Perrone, Kuhn, Paz, Baturina, and Douvikas leading the line.

The win comes after a week in which Fiorentina defeated Cremonese 4-1 and secured a 2-1 victory away to Rakow, setting up a Conference League quarter-final clash against Crystal Palace. Inter were held to a 1-1 draw by Fiorentina on March 22, 2026, with a goal from Cher Ndour cancelling out an early strike from Francesco Pio Esposito.
