Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 too Launch Simultaneously on ⁤Multiple Platforms

Square Enix announced today that the highly anticipated final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 will not be a PlayStation 5 exclusive, breaking from the pattern established with the first two installments of ‌the remake project. the game is slated for simultaneous release ⁢on PlayStation 5, Steam, the Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

This marks a critically importent shift for the Final Fantasy VII Remake series,which previously saw Rebirth launch exclusively on PlayStation 5 and PC.The decision to broaden platform availability from the outset for Part 3 reflects square Enix’s increasing focus on multiplatform releases, ensuring a wider audience can experience the concluding chapter of the reimagined story. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is also coming to Xbox and​ Nintendo​ Switch 2 on January 22, 2026.

The publisher confirmed⁢ this expanded release strategy during the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, alongside the proclamation of Intergrade’s arrival on new consoles. This⁣ move follows the earlier confirmation that⁢ Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will also eventually be available on platforms beyond PlayStation 5 and PC.
