Siao Him Fa Secures Grand Prix final Spot with Silver at Finlandia trophy
Helsinki, Finland – Adam Siao Him Fa of france claimed second place at the Finlandia Trophy 2025 in Helsinki this Saturday, November 22nd, securing his qualification for the ISU Grand Prix Final. He finished with a total score of 256.98 points.
Siao Him Fa, who led after the short program, delivered a free skate score of 164.48 points. Though, he was surpassed by Japan’s Yuma Kagiyama, who won the men’s competition with 270.45 points after achieving a free skate score of 182.29. This victory marks Kagiyama’s second consecutive win on the Grand Prix circuit, following his triumph at the NHK Trophy in early November.
Canadian skater Stephen gogolev rounded out the podium with a total score of 253.61 points.
“I was very nervous and it was very stressful, but in the end there are a lot of positives to take away from this competition,” siao Him Fa told Olympics.com and other media. ”A lot of things happened before the competition that could have knocked my confidence, but somehow I managed to deal with it all.”
Siao Him Fa also noted,”It’s been a while as I skated last in a free skate,and it actually felt good to be the last one to go. It’s just that I still need to practice.”
The Grand Prix Final will be held in Nagoya,Japan from December 4th to 7th,2025.
