President Donald Trump has filed a $20 billion claim against Paramount International, stemming from an interview with Kamala Harris during an election cycle. The lawsuit targets the company for what is described as a “cowardly capitulation of corporate leaders” and a breach of the basic rules of “60 Minutes” and CBS News, according to veteran “60 Minutes” producer Roma Hartman, who spoke to Fox News Digital at the time of the settlement.
The legal action comes as Paramount and CBS, under the leadership of executives Ellison and Shell, are reportedly focused on enhancing their respective brands. The newly formed company has stated its ambition to become a premier creative hub for compelling narratives.
