A Somali Member of Parliament, Abdillahi Hashi Abib, has publicly criticized Sweden’s recent policy of deporting criminals to Somalia, stating that Somalia does not want to receive individuals convicted of serious crimes.
“We do not want rapists, pedophiles and gang leaders from Sweden on the streets of Mogadishu,” Abib told Expressen, reflecting growing anger over the expulsions.

Shooting Reported in Linköping
Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at 17:54 in the Vasastaden district of Linköping, Sweden. A man was shot and transported to a hospital with injuries that are not currently considered life-threatening.
