The 27-year-old forward failed to convert a low cross from Tamble Monteiro, allowing the ball to slip through his legs for a goal-kick. Beto has scored once in seven Premier League appearances for Everton this season. The match took place at Amahoro Stadium in Kigali, Rwanda.
