Evert Santegoeds Criticizes Wilfred Genee Over Vier Linkerhanden Guest List
Talpa television host Wilfred Genee faces criticism from Privé editor-in-chief Evert Santegoeds over the guest lineup for his upcoming DIY show Vier Linkerhanden, with Santegoeds citing laziness in the casting process and pointing specifically to repeated appearances by media expert Tina Nijkamp.
Santegoeds Calls Out Casting Choices in Strikt Privé Podcast
Speaking on the Strikt Privé podcast, Evert Santegoeds questioned the originality of the names secured for the upcoming celebrity renovation program. Santegoeds stated that the guest list gave the impression that Genee simply asked individuals standing around in the hallways of Vandaag Inside if they wanted to appear on his new project, describing the approach as lacking effort. While Genee previously maintained that Talpa requested accessible names for the format, Santegoeds argued that the reasoning falls flat given Genee’s leverage within the network. According to Santegoeds, an artist like Anouk could have been secured if the host had pushed for a more ambitious roster.
Debate Over Wardrobe Repeat and Hilversum Stylists
The conversation on the podcast also turned toward Tina Nijkamp’s frequent media appearances and television wardrobe choices. Santegoeds remarked that Nijkamp rushes between talk shows so quickly that she appears in the same clothing across different programs, noting that she wore the same outfit on Van Roosmalen & Groenteman that she wore earlier on Pauw & De Wit. Telegraaf reporter Jordi Versteegden countered that Nijkamp has previously admitted to struggling with wardrobe selections and wondered if stylists in Hilversum might be stretched thin. Santegoeds responded that guests do not rely on network stylists anyway, suggesting that Nijkamp could easily find new clothes near her neighborhood on the Beethovenstraat, while also referencing past critical remarks from Marc-Marie Huijbregts regarding Nijkamp’s television attire.
