Tech billionaire Elon Musk has announced the establishment of a new political party in the United States on X. The party is named The America Party.
Yesterday, on the American Independence Day, Musk asked his followers on X in a poll if they wanted a new party or not. The owner of X has more than 221 million followers on the platform. More than 1.2 million people voted; More than 65 percent were positive about a new political party.
“When it comes to making our country with waste and corruption, we live in a one -party system, not in a democracy,” Musk writes. “Today The America Party was founded to give you your freedom back.”
