second Daughter of ‘El Puma’ Joins Family Feud, Criticizes Step-Mother
Miami, FL – November 27, 2023 – Lilibeth Morillo, another daughter of Venezuelan singer José Luis Rodríguez, known as ’El Puma,’ has publicly criticized his wife, Carolina Pérez, escalating a family dispute that began after concerns were raised about the singer traveling alone. The conflict unfolded following an incident on a plane where ‘El Puma’ was traveling.
The latest exchange began after Liliana Morillo, ‘El PumaS’ daughter with Lila Morillo, questioned “where his father’s family was” during the travel incident. Pérez responded via the program Siéntese Quien Pueda! stating, “I don’t care what you think about our family, for us you are not vital. We really are a very united family.’El Puma’ was working and what should worry you is the health of your father who is currently delicate, he is overwhelmed, social networks have altered him, they have affected him, because he is an elderly person and a transplant.”
Lilibeth Morillo then took to Instagram, commenting on a video of Liliana Morillo rehearsing a ranchera song. Her message read, “Only ashes remain of what your love was… for me… for God and for many, my sister, the firstborn is important! It’s that simple!”
She further implied Pérez was responsible for fracturing the family, stating, “Everything falls under its own weight! It was more than evident to the world who was the cause and always sought the division.” Lilibeth also questioned her step-mother’s opinion of Liliana’s singing, adding, “By the way… does he sing beautifully or not?… and mom, don’t even say it!”
Liliana Morillo subsequently responded through the same program, with a message read by Carolina Sandoval, stating, “My only concern is that ’El Puma’ is cared for, attended to, respected, loved and applauded. If his family is not on this page, it is indeed time for them to do that.”
The exchange was reported on Siéntese Quien Pueda! on November 26. ‘El Puma’ recently underwent a heart transplant and his family has expressed concern over his well-being and the impact of social media on his health.
