Eintracht Frankfurt magazine spotlights Brassier and club milestones

Eintracht Frankfurt prepares for a high-stakes Bundesliga-Pokal double-header against Hamburger SV while celebrating major milestones across the club’s history and community.

The club’s latest official magazine edition, “Eintracht vom Main,” spotlights the remarkable personal journey of 26-year-old Lilian Brassier. Eighteen years old and severely burned on his leg while cooking, Brassier underwent intensive treatment at a specialized burns unit in Paris. The experience during rehabilitation permanently shaped Brassier, who noted that surviving such a trial puts other life pressures into perspective. After making his professional debut in 2019 and logging 117 appearances in Ligue 1, Brassier completed a transfer to Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

Beyond the pitch, the club marks six decades of martial arts history. Originally rooted in SG Nied before officially integrating into Eintracht Frankfurt in 2021, the martial arts department spans judo, karate, and Vovinam. Department head Niko Föller outlined the current status of the disciplines in an interview featured in the magazine, which also profiles 21-year-old karate talent Tina Danneberg and examines the significance of different belt colors.

The edition highlights several additional institutional milestones. The Arolsen Archives are establishing a presence inside the Eintracht Frankfurt Museum, while co-trainer Christian Peintinger receives recognition under the staff teamwork category. Historical continuity bridges generations at a special table discussion featuring Mia Büchele, Sonny Kittel, and Uwe Bein ahead of the upcoming matches against Hamburg.

Additional club milestones include celebrating 25 years of the football school at Deutsche Bank Park alongside inductions for Smilla Kolbe, Aileen Kuhn, and Merlin Hummel into the club’s Hall of Fame. The club also spotlights historic and active locations including the Paulskirche and the stadium chapel, alongside profiles for Anna Dorigatti, Marthine Østenstad, and Malik Pimpong.
