Japan-US Trade Talks Extended Amidst Tariff Concerns

Trade discussions between Japan and the United States are ongoing, with a crucial deadline for tariff suspensions approaching. The talks, led by Japanese Minister of Economic Revitalization Akazawa Ryomasa, focus on automobiles and other key sectors, potentially impacting global trade dynamics.

Akazawa has decided to prolong his visit to Washington for additional talks concerning tariffs, as reported by NHK, according to a government official. Originally scheduled to conclude on the 29th, the minister’s stay will now be extended.
