Philadelphia’s offense capitalized on big plays earlier in the half. Jalen Hurts connected with Darius Cooper for a 62-yard touchdown pass, marking Cooper’s fourth touchdown catch on his sixth reception of the season. The Eagles also engineered a 13-play touchdown drive.
First-Half Injuries Impact Philadelphia Roster
The defensive stand and offensive production came with a roster cost. Jalyx Hunt sustained a leg injury on the final snap of the half when his leg became trapped underneath him, leaving him in serious pain. Will Shipley left the field with a foot injury, making his return questionable. Michael Carter II also exited with an injury during the half.
Meanwhile, Jalen Carter played without the cast on his right wrist, recording two strip sacks and three total tackles for loss.
