Düren, Germany - November 8, 2024 – The Düren Music School will illuminate the holiday season with two festive concerts on Wednesday, december 17th, 2025, at the historic Marienkirche in Düren. The events promise an evening of enchanting Christmas melodies for all ages.
A Double Bill of Holiday Cheer
The Music School has curated two distinct performances to cater to a wide audience. The earlier concert, beginning at 5:00 PM, will showcase the talents of Düren’s youngest musicians.Attendees can expect a vibrant hour-long programme featuring the “Orchester Kunterbunt,” “Young Bläser” (Young Brass), “Young Strings,” the “Youth Accordion Orchestra,” adn the charming “Recorder Smurfs.”
The second concert, commencing at 7:00 PM, will feature the Music School’s more established ensembles. Under the direction of Sander hendrix, the symphonic wind orchestra and youth wind orchestra will perform alongside the youth string orchestra, led by Christina Eulenbruch. The evening will also include a performance by a cello ensemble and showcase soloists from the violin class of Celina Shapiro.
