Hockenheimring,Germany – The DTM finale at the Hockenheimring wasn’t just a showcase of high-stakes racing this weekend, but a full-fledged fan experience drawing large crowds with a variety of off-track activities, including concerts, interactive zones, and driver meet-and-greets. Despite challenging weather, thousands attended the event, highlighting the DTM’s appeal beyond the competition itself.
The DTM is actively working to broaden its reach, offering experiences designed to engage both dedicated motorsport enthusiasts and families. This year’s finale built on that strategy, providing a complete entertainment package alongside the racing action. The series is also looking to the future, with Pirelli set to become the exclusive tire supplier from 2026, reinforcing a commitment to high performance and reliable support.
A popular draw was the pit walk with an autograph session, bringing fans face-to-face with their favorite drivers. The grid walk before the races also proved extremely popular, offering a closer look at the cars and teams. Interactive fan zones behind the main stand and in the paddock featured a DTM Reaction Wall and racing simulators, while a dedicated ball pit kept younger fans entertained. Merchandise and food trucks added to the festive atmosphere.
This year’s event featured concerts on the DTM Powerstage presented by Pirelli. On Saturday evening, shooting star Kamrad and the German rock band H-Blockx performed, attracting thousands of fans despite the rain.
“The DTM stands for high-class motorsport. We are therefore very pleased to be equipping the series with exclusive ‘Made in Germany’ tires from 2026, which we develop and produce in our technology hub in Breuberg,” said Wolfgang Meier, CEO of Pirelli Germany, in a statement to IPPEN.MEDIA. “The DTM can continue to count on the top performance of the tires and our reliable support on the race track.”
