Drummondville, Quebec – The Drummondville Putin Festival is set to kick off with a diverse lineup of musical acts, including French hip-hop groups penny Wise and IAM, and local artist Claudia Bouvette. the festival, managed by Simon Proulx, aims to deliver a varied entertainment experience.
Penny Wise, known for their energetic performances, will take the stage tomorrow, marking a significant booking for the festival organizers, who have long admired the group. IAM, often referred to as the “bad boys from Marseille,” will perform on Saturday, fulfilling a ten-year pursuit by the festival to secure their appearance.
Thursday evening will feature a “band” format performance by Claudia Bouvette, promising a lively and danceable show for attendees.festival administrators anticipate a high-energy atmosphere.
Beyond the music, Evenko, the festival’s partner, is contributing to local schools. For every portion of poutine sold during the festival,$0.50 will be donated to schools within the Drummondville region to support their music programs.
