Police officers from the Sixth RU detained a driver and his companion who tried to bribe them. On Saturday evening in the “Stolipinovo” district, a car patrol stopped a Volkswagen car with Plovdiv registration for inspection. The car was driven by a foreign citizen residing in our country for a long time.
However, it turned out that the entry visa of his compatriot, with whom they traveled together, had expired. With the intention of thwarting the actions of the uniformed men, the men gave their documents, placing between them a 100 BGN banknote.
The information was immediately submitted to the on-duty part of the regional administration. An operative group arrived at the scene, made an inspection and seized the money. The perpetrators are detained for up to 24 hours. A pre-trial proceeding has been initiated.
