Mark your calendars: Saturday, June 14, 2025, will see the return of Dresden’s beloved Museum Night. From 6 p.m. untill midnight, over 45 museums and exhibition spaces will unlock their doors, inviting visitors to immerse themselves in a unique evening of art, history, and culture. This year’s Museum Night Dresden promises a wealth of exciting discoveries, specialized programs, and a diverse array of supporting events, including music, performances, and culinary delights.
New Additions to the Program
This year’s event introduces several new participants,enriching the already diverse offerings. Among the newcomers are:
- The permanent exhibition in the foyer of the Golden Pforte at the New Town Hall.
- The Forum police History Saxony.
- The Hoffmann collection in the Freital House.

I am particularly pleased about the many offers for children and families that make the museums into a place together and experience.
Tickets and Transportation
A single ticket grants access to all participating museums and includes free use of public transportation within the entire transport association Oberelbe (VVO) from 2 p.m. to 4 a.m. on the day of the event.Tickets are available for purchase at all travel ID machines from DVB and Deutsche bahn, as well as online in advance.
