Dogfish Head Restocks Limited-Edition Joan Jett and the Blackhearts Beer and Merch Kit
Sixty minutes is all it took for Dogfish Head’s limited-edition Jett Black Lager kit to sell out during its initial release. Now, the Delaware brewery is bringing the collaborative package back for a restock, giving fans another chance to secure the commemorative merchandise and beer bundle.
What Comes in the Restocked Kits
Priced at $45, the kit includes a four-pack of 12-ounce Jett Black Lager cans, a guitar-pick-shaped bottle opener, commemorative pins, and a cooler. The package features a studded pleather can cooler and a heart-shaped guitar pick bottle opener, with purchases limited to one kit per person. Brewed with barley malt, flaked maize, and flaked rice, the lager delivers aromas of honey, herbs, and black pepper alongside sweet breadcrust and light toast flavors.
This collaboration is truly a full-circle moment for me,
said Sam Calagione, Dogfish Head Brewer & Founder, noting that Joan Jett was his first-ever concert. Watching Joan on stage cemented my love of rock ’n’ roll music.

Order the Kit by November 10 for Delivery Before Black Friday
The drop coincides with the 45th anniversaries of Joan Jett and the Blackhearts albums Bad Reputation and I Love Rock ’n Roll. The title track of the latter spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has garnered more than 720 million streams on Spotify. Reviewing the track for a past list, Rob Sheffield wrote that Jett claimed the forgotten Arrows song as a feminist dirtbag anthem for the ages.
The track entered the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2016.
Ordering the kit by Tuesday, November 10, provides enough time for delivery before Record Store Day’s RSD Black Friday celebration on November 27. On that day, independent record stores will stock a myriad of new vinyl record releases, including I Love Rock ‘N’ Roll: The Shadow Album. Additional four-packs and merchandise will appear at Dogfish Head’s coastal Delaware locations beginning Wednesday, November 11.
I’ve always believed in doing things your own way, and Dogfish Head has that same spirit,
said Jett. Looking forward to raising a glass of Jett Black Lager to 45 years of ‘I Love Rock ’N Roll’ and ‘Bad Reputation.

Dogfish Head previously partnered with other music acts, including the Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, The Flaming Lips, the Miles Davis estate, and Deltron 3030. The current collection is available through Give Them Beer, a beer-focused gifting website.
