Dirk Kuyt Eyed for FC Dordrecht Coaching Role Following beerschot Relegation
The hague, Netherlands – June 23, 2025 – Former Dutch international Dirk Kuyt is being considered for the head coach position at FC Dordrecht, following the departure of Melvin Boel to Go Ahead Eagles. This comes after a challenging season with belgian club Beerschot,were Kuyt oversaw the team’s relegation despite earning praise for his work with the squad under challenging circumstances.
Kuyt, a 104-time Oranje international, is currently without a club after his stint at Beerschot concluded. Though, his previous experience within the Feyenoord Academy – where FC Dordrecht maintains a close working relationship – makes him a strong candidate.He also previously held a coaching role at ADO Den haag, further bolstering his credentials.
FC Dordrecht is reportedly hoping to secure Kuyt’s commitment in the short term. The club believes his experience and tactical acumen could be instrumental in achieving success in the Kitchen Champion Division.
