Diddy Imparts Business & Life Skills to Inmates Through Jailhouse course
Sean “Diddy” Combs has been leading a six-week educational program, “free Game With Diddy,” at the brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center while awaiting sentencing in a federal sex trafficking case. attorneys for the music mogul revealed the initiative in a recent court filing as part of a plea for leniency.
The program, evolving from a previous concept called “Love forward,” aims to provide inmates with practical skills in business management, entrepreneurship, and personal growth. Diddy’s legal team submitted a 15-page class plan alongside testimonials from participants, hoping to demonstrate Combs’ commitment to rehabilitation and positive contribution. This effort comes as his sentencing date, October 3rd, approaches, with prosecutors seeking a sentence of 51 to 63 months following his July conviction on two counts of transporting a person to engage in prostitution.
According to the court filing, the “Free Game With Diddy” course is designed to “equip participants with essential skills.” One inmate shared in a written statement,”Because of this class I have a purpose, something to look forward to every day.”
Diddy’s legal team is also presenting character letters from friends and family, including one from Yung Miami, in an attempt to influence the judge’s decision. The ultimate sentencing decision rests with the judge, who will weigh the prosecution’s recommendation against the evidence of Combs’ recent efforts and character support.
