Detroit City Football Club Employee Arrested for Terrorist Threats

Detroit City FC Employee Faces 11 Felony Charges for Alleged Terrorist Threats

Madison, IL – A Detroit City Football Club employee has been charged with 11 felony counts of making terrorist threats, authorities announced Monday. Jarrett M. Maki, 25, was taken into custody saturday, September 6, by East Alton, Illinois investigators with assistance from the Madison Police Department after being detained at World-Wide Technology Raceway in Madison, Illinois.

Maki was initially booked at the East Alton Police Department and interviewed before being remanded to the Madison County jail.On September 8, 2025, the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office formally charged Maki with 11 counts of making a terrorist threat, a Class X felony.

Austin Blair, who was previously detained in connection with the case, has since been released from custody following a formal detention hearing.

Maki remains in custody at the Madison County Jail as the case proceeds.Authorities emphasize that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and these charges are based on probable cause, not proof of guilt.
