Desi Slava Reveals Slavi Trifonov Offer – 20 Years Later

Folk singer Desi Slava recently shared a past career opportunity: over two decades ago, in 2003, Slavi Trifonov invited her to join his show as a backing vocalist.

The offer came shortly after Slava’s departure from the music company Payner. Reflecting on the proposal, Desi Slava told Bulgaria Today that while she found the idea appealing, she recognized her strong inclination towards individualism. She stated, “There is no way to be just a backing.In addition, the activity is labor-intensive and requires the precision that I didn’t have. There were many fines and I would probably end my career there in a month.”
