KINGMAN, Ariz.- The body of a Las Vegas woman was discovered inside a cardboard box in a remote desert area east of Kingman on September 5th, prompting a death inquiry by the Mohave County Sheriff‘s Office.
Carolyn ann Bosher, 57, was identified through fingerprints as the deceased. her death is currently under investigation, with detectives collaborating with the las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The discovery near Windmill Ranch Road raises questions about foul play and the vulnerability of individuals, even in sparsely populated areas. The ongoing investigation aims to provide answers to Bosher’s family and ensure public safety.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a witness reported a “suspicious package” in a wash area, believing a body was contained within a large cardboard box.A separate witness reported seeing a truck with its trunk open near the location the night before, but was unable to identify the vehicle due to darkness.
Authorities confirmed that Bosher had been arrested by Las Vegas Metro Police on indecent exposure charges six days prior to the discovery of her body. However, investigators found no evidence at the scene to suggest she was killed at that location.
